What can we do to minimize the vibration damage on led work lamps in mining and construction sites

03-08-2024
It is well known that vibration is a common issue we cannot forget in mining or construction sites. Strong vibration will affect the lifespan and performance of led work lanps greatly.

For this reason, we need to adopt some measures in order to ensure the reliability and performance of led work lamps.
48w led work lamps tailored made for heavy duty equipments
For all of led work lamps made by Teehon, the housings of the lamps are made of diecast aluminum alloy, which can withstand  vibration grade of 20G rms from 24 to 2000hz. Also, two vibration-absorbing washers will be inserted into stainless or iron mounting brackets to isolate internal components from external shocks. Special-purpose adhesive and fasteners will be used to firmly secure internal pcbas and components so as to prevent them from vibration damage. For
some of Teehon thick and high power led work lamps, hard rubber+stainless steel mounting bracket are installed onto the lamps to reduce the transmission of vibrations.

In addtion to the above-mentioned points, it is also strongly suggested that each led work lamp must be securely fastened to a stable structure to minimize unstable movement during operations. And power cables are properly secured onto heavy duty equipments to prevent from amplifying any vibrations. Engineers need to conduct routine inspections to identify and locate any signs of wear or damage caused by vibration.

By adopting these measures, we can enhance the durability and performance of LED work lamps in the harsh conditions of mining and construction sites.
