Can IP67-rated waterproof led work lights work well under shallow sea water for a short time

Although most of our LED work lights are IP67 waterproof, they can work well outside in heavy rains and storms. However, that does not means that the IP67-rated led work lights can be used especially in seawater.

IP67 waterproof certification indicates a high level of dust and water resistance, the IP67 waterproof lamps are designed to withstand temporary immersion in water, such as heavy rains splashes or short time submersion. Highly corrosive seawater far exceeds the working requirements by IP67-rated lamps.

If you do need the lights for underwater applications, we recommend the other lights that can withstand the extreme underwater conditions, such as underwater marine lights,  submersible led lights typically used for industrial and commercial settings.

Although IP67 waterproof led work lights are suitable for underwater applications, it does not mean that they are not suitable for marine applications at all. If you install them onto the boats and ships for surface setting, IP67 waterproof led work lights with 304 stainless steel mounting kits can work on the top or on the deck of boats or ships without problems.
