new EU laws on energy labeling will become compulsory for LED lights sold in EU market

The EU laws about ecodesign and energy labeling had been in effect in December 2019, on September 1st,2021, they will be compulsory for all of LED lights that will be sold in EU market. This to say, all of light sources and separate control gear must comply with these ecodesign requirements in terms of energy efficiency and certain quality criteria. 

At the beginning, the said EU laws will describe efficiency requirements for LED control gear and the important new certification tolerances. The energy labeling of light sources must indicate new (rescaled) energy efficiency classes (from A to G) and need registration in the EU Product Database for Energy Labeling (EPREL). In future, LED lighting fixtures will no longer need an energy label. But, the light sources and control gear can be removed undestroyedly. Currently, the said EU laws do not cover sensors and control units for the lights.
