Taiwanese IC solutions supplier Novatek has worked with BMW and Meta for automotive sectors and VR devices

Taiwanese IC design company Novatek has worked with BMW to provide solutions for the wearable and automotive sectors, also, it announces that it has also become supplier of Meta’s VR headsets.

Novatek has showed some of its latest technologies, such as high-speed display driver ic for VR device panels, automotive COF driver ic,next-generation self-driving interior platform, full-screen OLED driver ic,ultra-fine pitch Mini LED video wall solution,etc.

Also, Novatek has supplied small batches of high-speed display driver ICs for VR device panels,for example, Meta (formerly known as Facebook) has reported to adopt Novateks solutions to its VR devices.

In the third quarter this year, Novatek reported a record-high gross margin of of 51.94% with consolidated revenue reaching NT$98.823 billion. Its total revenue is expected to reach US$5 billion for the whole year 2021.
