laser led driving lights go into our life nowadays, each with distinct
characteristics and technical features.
Basically, micro led headlights adopt arrays of extremely small (micrometer-sized) leds. The light beam is directly emitted from these semiconductor diods through spontaneous emission. Some customized Micro LED lights can project warnings, driver assistance images, or even lane guides directly onto the road.They can provide broad, well-distributed light with precision close to the vehicle.
As for laser led driving lights, they can project the light much farther, up to 600 meters or more when working at high beam pattern. And they feature much higher lumen in brightness,especially at higher speed or on dark roads.
The miniaturization of the micro LEDs allows for very compact headlight designs and increased design flexibility for automakers.
The laser modules themselves are extremely compact, even smaller than LED clusters. This allows for more design freedom under the hood and can contribute to better aerodynamics. Both micro LED headlights and laser led driving lights are high energy-efficient for the lighting output they provide.
Due to the concerns of safety preventing eye damage, different countries and regions have different regulations for laser led driving lights, for example, in Europe, E-mark R112 is a mandatory certification for on-the-road driving applications.
It is hard to say if laser led driving light is better than micro led headlight or not because both of them have their own distinctive features. For example,micro LED headlights focus on precision, adaptability, and high-resolution light distribution for a safer and more comfortable driving experience. Laser LED driving lights, on the other hand, prioritize maximum range and intensity for superior long-distance visibility in high-beam scenarios.
